“On the morning of November 1st, 2021, the fourth MyDo Forum (English & Legal Culture Salon) was honored to invite Mr. Petros Koronidis and Mrs. Spyridoula Kastani, who is the General Manager and Supervisor, respectively, of Suzhou ProdActive Consulting Co., Ltd to share their experience. The legal team of foreign-related matters of MyDo Law Firm participated in this salon.

Mr. Petros Koronidis has a background in mechanical and automotive engineering, and he is a distinguished expert in the elevator industry, having served in senior positions and overseen large scale elevator start-ups in Europe, China and Africa. His resume includes the development of 15 complete elevator models sold to about 100 countries and 5 patents under his name. He was awarded the “Outstanding Talent in Science & Technology Award” in 2019.

ProdActive is entrusted by and partnered with the TÜV Nord Group Notification Body; meanwhile, ProdActive provides a global network service to foreign companies in China, and to Chinese companies which do business outside of China.

Mr. Petros Koronidis and Mrs. Spyridoula Kastani explained in detail about the business scope of ProdActive and its expertise. During the sharing, attorneys of MyDo also asked some questions about the elevators. Especially, as Mr. Petros Koronidis has the working experience in investigating car accidents, elevators accidents in Europe, so attorneys of MyDo asked related questions about the investigation and how the investigation reports worked.

Through this salon and communicating with top management members of ProdActive, attorneys of MyDo have acquired new knowledge about technology, especially elevators.
